Viansa Winery hosts its 2012 Mediterranean Wine Cruise
September 14 - 24, 2012
Dear Friends of Viansa,
After the success of our 2010 wine and food adventure at sea, we couldn't wait to set sail again. I would like to personally invite you to join me on the winery’s 2nd Mediterranean cruise, from September 14th through September 24th, 2012, where I will share with you my passion for wine and food. We will travel from Lisbon to Civitavecchia (port for Rome) and visit eight other intriguing destinations, for an amazing 10-day odyssey.
Your exotic Mediterranean voyage will be onboard Oceania Cruises’ newest ship—Riviera. This luxury ship was specifically designed for the wine and food lover and features six small gourmet restaurants and the industry’s first hands-on culinary center. I also happy to announce that our long-time friend and culinary confident, Livia Colantoni, co-owner of the Umbrian wine estate, Castello delle Regine, will also be onboard the ship and will lead us in a hand-on cooking class in the culinary center.
During the cruise I will have the opportunity to host an educational wine tasting and seminar as well as several fabulous shore excursions that will augment your experiences along the way as well as delight your palate and feed your mind. The highlight of the trip will be a private winemaker’s dinner. This cruise promises to be a spectacular experience for all involved. Whether you are a wine novice, an aficionado or somewhere in between, there will be something for you to enjoy.
