Chef John Toulze will feature farm-to-table fare prepared out of the Viansa Sonoma wood-fired oven, and served in wine-paired courses on our picturesque terrace. Enjoy the dramatic views and setting sun over the vineyards and the stunning Sonoma Valley while you dine on a sumptuous local menu prepared exclusively to pair with Viansa Sonoma's wines. John Toulze, Executive Chef & Managing Partner , the girl & the fig, Sonoma

A native of northern California from a third generation French family, cooking is a strong passion in John's life. He started his career in hospitality at Viansa Winery in 1994. John left Viansa winery to help Sondra Bernstein open the girl & the fig restaurant in Glen Ellen. Twenty years later, John is not only the Executive Chef but also the Managing Partner. He received a Rising Star Chef award in June 2009.
