Carnevale di Viansa 2012
Saturday, February 25th | 6 – 9:30pm
The Venice Carnevale is one of the most well known festivals celebrated in Italy. Dating back to ancient times, with records showing its origins in the 14th century, there’s no more famous masked-fun on the planet.
This year, we will celebrate this world-famous festivity with our own Masquerade Ball. Guests are invited/encouraged to join us in their favorite costumed, Carnevale attire (allegorical characters, traditional cloaks and long-nosed mask, etc). We will start the evening in our cellar where, if you do not have a mask, you can choose from different Venetian style masks to wear. The you will join us in our Tasting Room for delicious Hors d’oeuvres paired with Viansa wine. At 6:45pm, we will then move into our Event Tent for a Venetian buffet style dinner (click here for the full menu) and dancing. We will also have Carnevale dancers that will perform for us and you will have the opportunity to dance with them! The cost for the phenomenal event is $90.00 for Members and $120.00 Non-Members. 2012 Mediterranean Wine Cruise – Lisbon to Rome
Join Viansa Winery & Marketplace as we travel on a 10-night Mediterranean wine cruise September 14 – 24, 2012. Our 2nd Annual Wine Cruise will travel from Lisbon to Civitavecchia (port of Rome), stopping at eight other intriguing destinations, for an amazing 10-day odyssey aboard Oceana Cruises’ newest ship, Riviera. During this tasting, we pair five of Viansa's Italian varietal wines with five different cheeses enhanced with Viansa food products. Member Party
Sunday, March 18th | 12:00-2:30pm
For the second consecutive month, we will be closing the winery to the general public, on Sunday, March 18th, so our members and their guests (up to 3) can have exclusive access to our property from 10am until we close at 5pm. Since this is the third Sunday of the month, we will have our member party that will begin at noon and end at 2:30pm. Please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
