Sunday, July 11: The Art of Decanting - A Wine Mechanics Event
What is decanting? Why should you decant? Which wines benefit most from decanting? Is decanting only for red wines? Come and learn about the truths and myths surrounding this time-honored ritual and how decanting can improve your enjoyment of your favorite Viansa wines. Regardless of your level of wine expertise, you’ll leave this seminar with a new sense of confidence about serving wine. Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18: Cal Italia Festival Weekend
Join us for our first ever Cal Italia Festival! We’ll celebrate our California and Italian roots as our property is transformed into a Tuscan village. You’ll feel like you’re strolling through a quaint marketplace in Italy as you wander around our many booths! In addition an array of CalItal foods and wines for your enjoyment, there will also be music, dancing, an outdoor Mercato, art displays, wine and cheese pairing seminars, gelato station, bocce ball, barrel tastings, wine blending seminars, games and more! Plan on spending the entire day (or weekend!) with us. This is our major event of the summer season, so you won’t want to miss it! 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 707-935-4740.
Sunday, July 18: Tuscan Club Pick-Up Party
Since our Tuscan Club Pick-Up Party coincides with our Cal Italia Festival, we encourage our Tuscan club members to pick up shipments between 1 and 3 p.m. so that you can enjoy a complimentary food and wine pairing and a private tasting of our Signature Series wines hosted by President Lloyd Davis. Saturday, July 24: Food & Wine Pairing - A Wine Mechanics Event
Mystified by pairing wine with food? Ty Horner will lead you through the process in this fun and informative demonstration. Once you learn the basics of pairing both red and white wines with foods, you’ll leave with new confidence when ordering wine in restaurants or selecting just the right wines for your next dinner party. 1 to 2:30 p.m. Complimentary for members ($20 for non-members). Sunday, July 25: Wood Paddle Cooking Demo - A Lifestyle Event
Wood paddle cooking is the latest gourmet craze! Learn how to cook with a wood paddle and the art of deglazing from Chef Lennie DiCarlo. She’ll demonstrate several recipes featuring Viansa food products. Wednsday, July 27: Locals & Industry Open House
For our local & industry friends; join us for a special complimentary event. Enjoy our latest release wines, stroll around our property and discover recent improvements.

Sunday, August 8: How to Host a Wine Tasting Party - A Lifestyle Event
If you’ve never hosted a wine tasting because you don’t know where to begin, we’re here to help you plan a wine adventure your friends won’t soon forget! Saturday, August 14: Wine & Lobster Feast
Lobster and summer are synonymous – especially on the East Coast. We may be in sunny California, but you can still enjoy this time-honored summer seafood tradition. Spend the day at Viansa, feasting on lobster and enjoying your favorite wines along with live music, bocce ball and some of the best views in Sonoma Valley!
