Our 2010 Estate Primitivo originates from our hillside vineyard. DNA studies show that Zinfandel is the same as Primitivo grown in Italy's Puglia region. Displaying why this vineyard has earned it's reputation for consistently producing grapes that are rich, complex and full of flavors, the wine benefited from both pristine farming as well as a winemaking regime of 18 months in barrels to soften its bold tannins. An approachable red, it's perfectly suited for a wide range of foods. This is a Merlot to enjoy now and over the years ahead.
