Our 2010 Barbera originates from the Morning Sun Vineyard and has adapted to the Sonoma Country climate which many compare to Tuscany, it is a rich red for the eyes and the palate.

Barbera is incredibly popular in Italy - being the second most widely planted red wine grape in Italy - this wine displays many of the quintessential characteristics loved from Piedmonte, with a California sensibility. Barrel aged for 17 months in 30% new oak to deliver a silky, smoothness and balance, it's a wine balanced with robustness and bright cherry character to enjoy now and over the next 8-10 years with good cellaring.

Our 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested from the Lazy Dog Vineyard in Sonoma Valley which makes this a complex, well balanced and rich wine. It possesses hints of black fruits, cedar and mocha.

Our 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine to enjoy over time, a blend of premium fruit that benefited from pure organic farming, the wine was barrel aged for 18 months in 30% new oak to create what at release show black fruit, cedar and mocha; and it will furthur soften to show elegance, balance and richness in the next 8-10 years. The king of the red grapes, this is a Cabernet Sauvignon that pairs wonderfully with aged semi-hard and hard cheeses like Vella Cheese Company's Romanello and Dry Monterey Jack.

Our 2010 Estate Primitivo is an aromatic wine with ripe flavors of boysenberry, plum, vanilla, oak spice, and black pepper.

Our 2010 Estate Primitivo originates from our hillside vineyard. DNA studies show that Zinfandel is the same as Primitivo grown in Italy's Puglia region. We aged this wine for 20 months in 30% new oak barrels and added 5% Sangiovese to increase complexity and red fruit. Enjoy now or cellar up to 8 years.

Our 2010 Merlot is harvested from a special vineyard block on the acclaimed Serres Ranch, a mere 15 minutes north of the Viansa estate. Displaying why this vineyard has earned it's reputation for consistently producing grapes that are rich, complex and full of flavors, the wine benefited from both pristine farming as well as a winemaking regime of 18 months in barrels to soften its bold tannins. An approachable red, it's perfectly suited for a wide range of foods. This is a Merlot to enjoy now and over the years ahead.

Our 2010 Reserve Sangiovese originates from our hillside vineyard. Highlighted by the many wonderful qualities of this Estate grape, it is a wine that leads with aromas of raspberry, cassis, vanilla; and develop to flavors of red cherry, back currant, and strawberry.

Our 2010 Reserve Sangiovese was aged for 18 months in 50% new French oak, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon was added to further enhance mouth feel and give even more length to the long, elegant finish. Enjoy now, or cellar over the next 8-10 years.

Our 2010 Sangiovese harvested from 3 different clones grown on our estate this wine shows deep in the glass with bright cherry fruit and hints of pepper. 

Our 2010 Sangiovese benefited from a blanket of fog overlaying the vineyards throughout the growing season, its predominately Sangiovese with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and Primitivo offering more depth, complexity and balance. Coming together as a medium-bodied wine with hints of orange zest and spice, it shows wonderfully judicious tannins because of limiting to 12 months in oak barrels. Ideal for enjoying alongside everything from braised meats to pizza. It's a wine to enjoy now or cellar up to 5 years.
