A wine reminiscent of a prodution from Italy's Alto-Adige, Veneto and Friuli, the 2011 Estate Pinot Grigio originated from our hillside vineyard where warm days and cool nights build acidity and help develop precise fruit flavors. Showing all the brightness and raciness that a wine lover looks for from the varietal. It was blended with 10% barrel fermented Chardonnay to increase complexity and smooth the wine's acidity, coming together as a vibrant wine layered with pear, and tropical notes. It's a wonderful accompaniment to Orzo Risotto with Buttery Shrimp or Spaghetti with Lemon, Chile and Creamy Spinach.

Our 2011 Estate Vino Bianco originates from our hillside vineyard; our winemaking team blended Vernaccia (60%) with barrel fermented Chardonnay (20%) and Tocai Fruilano (20%); then aged it for 5 months in 30% new French oak. The result: a white that shows sweet citrus and apple framed with lovely richness and sweet oak nuance, delicate tropical notes and a bright palate. Idyllic with fresh lobster and drawn butter. It's also perfectly suited for coconut prawns or our favorite fish stew, cioppino.

The grapes for this wine originate from three great vineyards in Sonoma Valley that consistently produce rich and complex fruit. It is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Arneis and Pinot Grigio.
