The 2019 Vertice embodies Cabernet Franc with cassis, cocoa, beautifully toasted barrels and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. The entry on the palate is rich and expands with sweet, structured tannins, flavors of blackberries, baking spices and pastry.

The Charlie Smith Vineyard is at 1,600 feet elevation on the Sonoma County side of the Mayacamas Mountain range. This elevation and the coastal influence allow for the perfect pairing of slightly stressed vines with smaller berries and the ability to recover during the cooler evenings.
The four different sections of this label represent the four generations of the Sebastiani family at Viansa. The gold pathways created between the pieces, and well as the raised lines on one of them, highlight the importance of the journey taken to scale great heights and reach il vertice — the summit.

The Cielo Collection is a tribute to the Sebastiani family legacy and represents the pinnacle of winemaking at Viansa. Designed by Italian artist Mario DiPaulo of Spazio DiPaulo, each label features a unique symbol or pendant that honors a meaningful chapter of our story.
The rising sun on Inizio represents the power and promise of new beginnings. The four segmented pieces of Vertice reflect four generations of the Sebastiani family, with golden pathways symbolizing the journey to the summit. Quattro features four interlocking rings, evoking both unity across generations. And Trentesimo celebrates Viansa’s 30-year history, with gold lines shaped from the topography of our hillside estate.
Together, these designs are a visual tribute to where we’ve been, where we are, and what lies ahead.
