Planning Your Visit
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are required for 6+ guests. Parties of any size are encouraged to reserve a tasting experience for guaranteed seating — especially on Saturdays. For parties of 11+ guests, please contact us to plan your visit.
Walk-in groups of 5 or fewer are welcome for tastings at the bar. Picnic tables are also available on a first-come, first-served basis, where you can order wines by the bottle or glass, along with food from our deli.
Can I book multiple tables for my large group?
In the interest of providing your party and other guests with the best experience possible, we ask that all groups of 11+ guests contact our team to plan your visit. We would love to help accommodate your group in a way that meets your needs and provides the most enjoyable visit for everyone!
Can children and non-drinking guests join my tasting?
Non-drinking guests, including children, are welcome to join your reserved table at $10 per seat. However, the Vista Lounge, Enoteca Wine Library and Vineyard Walk, Wine + Luncheon experiences are limited to guests 21 and older. We kindly ask that any children in your party stay with your group and are supervised at all times.
What if it rains on the day of my tasting?
Sonoma typically experiences rain in the winter and early spring — never fear! We will do our best to accommodate your group in one of our sheltered spaces, or work with you to reschedule for a later date.
Food + Beverages
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Sorry, outside food and drinks are not allowed! Our Italian marketplace offers something to satisfy every appetite — artisan cheese and charcuterie boards, fresh-made sandwiches, vibrant salads and more — as well as grab-and-go snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are more than happy to adapt our deli offerings to meet your needs! If booking in advance, please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies in the reservation notes.
Is your wood-fired pizza oven operating now?
Our wood-fired pizza oven is closed for the season and will reopen in June. In the meantime, you can still enjoy the selection of cheese and charcuterie, sandwiches, salads and more from our deli.
Yes! Our wood-fired pizza oven is open from 11am-3pm on Saturdays and Sundays through October 19th (weather permitting). During the winter months, you can still enjoy the selection of cheese and charcuterie, sandwiches, salads and more from our deli.
Weddings + Private Events
Can you host my wedding?

Can you host my birthday party or other celebration?
What is your maximum guest capacity?
Our capacity varies based on the type of event and the location on our property, but we can comfortably host about 220 guests indoors and 300 guests outdoors. Please send us an event request for more information.
What food options are available for my event?
If you’re hosting your wedding at Viansa, you’ll hire a caterer from our preferred vendor list. For other private events, we have our own deli, plus our events team works with many local caterers and chefs, and would be happy to help you create the perfect food and wine experience for any occasion.

Wine Club
I just signed up for the wine club. When can I expect my first allocation?
When you join, you will receive your first allocation right away so you can start enjoying all of your member benefits. Going forward, allocations will ship in April, October and December. We’ll send emails and text messages announcing upcoming allocations about 2 weeks before they ship.
How do I update my address or credit card on file?

I’m a member. Can a friend enjoy a complimentary tasting without me?
Unfortunately, no. To best serve all of our members, an active member must be present to enjoy wine club benefits and experiences.

Who should I contact with questions about my order?
I can't find a particular wine on your website. Do you still have it?
Over Viansa’s 30+ year history, we have made hundreds of wines, many of which have been phased out of our portfolio or sold out. However, if you contact our team, we will be happy to check our inventory or recommend a similar wine.
