This pack features 12 bottles of our 2023 Terra Collection Chardonnay from the North Coast.
Our 2023 Terra Chardonnay is tank-fermented and aged in stainless steel and 29% neutral French Oak barrels. This results in a wine that shows ripe pear and spring flowers with a touch of oak and sweet cream. The palate is balanced with a linear minerality, bright lemons and a vanilla richness.

Fresh, crisp, lush. Free-form and a little funky, this piece represents our easy-drinking whites that are traditional to our Sonoma Valley home, like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
Clusters were harvested with a mix of machine and hand harvesting in the early morning. The fruit went directly to the press and juice was collected in stainless steel tanks for cold settling. Once the juice was under 50 NTU it was racked off the heavy lees to different stainless steel tanks for fermentation. The juice was then inoculated with VL2 yeast which was selected for its ability to stay true to the varietal characteristics and give a rich mouthfeel. Fermentation lasted 21 days and went through partial native malo-lactic fermentation before being sulfured and then aged in both tank and barrels. The barrels were stirred every two weeks to build out the mid-palate for two months. Then, the wine was aged for five months before bottling.

Our wine labels are more than decoration—they reflect heritage, craftsmanship, and our Italian roots. Inspired by the hand-painted frescoes once featured on past bottles, in 2018 we set out to reintroduce authentic Italian artistry in a fresh, modern way. That vision led us to Maria Giannini, a sixth-generation artisan and the first woman to lead her family’s 150-year-old marbling studio, Giulio Giannini e Figlio, in Florence.
Maria’s hand-marbled papers, crafted with traditional tools and natural pigments, form the foundation of our Terra and Altura Collection labels. Each wine features a unique pattern and color palette inspired by its distinct flavor profile and story, interpreted through a close collaboration between Maria and Viansa.
