From the Russian River Valley, which is known for its cooler coastal influence, to Knights Valley, which is the warmest AVA in Sonoma Valley, our 2021 Cabernet Franc shows influence from all these blended vineyards. The aromatics include notes of plums, black cherries and sage. Showing a balance of richness and structure, the palate has big, silky tannins and added notes of dark chocolate and molasses.

Our wine labels are more than decoration—they reflect heritage, craftsmanship, and our Italian roots. Inspired by the hand-painted frescoes once featured on past bottles, in 2018 we set out to reintroduce authentic Italian artistry in a fresh, modern way. That vision led us to Maria Giannini, a sixth-generation artisan and the first woman to lead her family’s 150-year-old marbling studio, Giulio Giannini e Figlio, in Florence.
Maria’s hand-marbled papers, crafted with traditional tools and natural pigments, form the foundation of our Terra and Altura Collection labels. Each wine features a unique pattern and color palette inspired by its distinct flavor profile and story, interpreted through a close collaboration between Maria and Viansa.
